Any times in the 03 yet? I wouldn't want to beat you up too bad until you get it dialed in. I have some BFG Drag Radials coming for the Z, the heat cycles of drag racing made the rubber too hard for Road Racing.

I took the blue beast to the 1/8 yesterday it went 7.5 flat at 101 letting on and off the gas for traction, those stock F1 supercars sucked bad.
The 03 has not been to the track yet but is has been to the dyno, just vararam and hurt shifter 369rwhp. We did another black 03 clone to my blue one it is sitting on Bill Heards lot on Barret Parkway, it made 382rwhp at 195 degrees with the cats on the car.

I knew you were joking :yesnod: and the 2.5 years feels like five! I expect between 7-750 RWHP and RWTQ, with fairly conservative tuning. I could push it to 800+ easily but the driveline won't hold that much power. Cant wait to see you at the track, it's all good - :cheers: :cheers:
Now you see what is going to happen is you are going to force me to turn the bottle on with the boost, with that it makes close to 700RWHP we are still tweeking it. So when are we going you got me all fired up. Just think if you win you can take my bragging right away from me and you will have your first true win after two years of getting your but kicked at the track by your siver daddy and your blue daddy. The motor in the T/A is a puny little 383, so no big cubes to worry about :) It does have a pretty stout rotating butt'y, pistons and rods (all Lunati), a pretty serious cam (secret) and Canfield thick deck heads. At 6K RPM on the engine dyno I was making 23 #'s of boost at the blower, losing about 4 through the intercooler (custom Spearco - a monster), the engine is built to redline over 7K, so I can push it a bit.
The problem both of us will have is getting the power to the road.
BTW this car last ran a 10.89@128.8 MPH with a mere 520 RWHP, so once I get in dialed in, and if the tranny will hold, I should be capable of deep 9's.
AND I will drive it to and from the track.

PS: Lamar - you and me both bro, this has been a LONG time project! I hope to get a few hundred "around town" miles on here then head for SDR or Commerce (probably Commerce in case I break something) in a few weeks.
Les sounds good, but remember when you look at that time slip and the video when we raced "I can re -post "you lost, the win light went to me, it was heads up racing not bracket racing, just cuz I hit the rpm limiter and you still never made it by doesnt mean you did not beat my time that you did, you just lost another heads up race. :D I will give you this you have been trying for years to beat all of my cars and you have almost done it. It will be a pleasure to loose if I do to a 383 with 23 psi of boost, I will leave my stock cubic inches and 10 psi on mine so maybe it wont break and I dont have to be towed home again. :banghead: :cheers: :cheers: :banghead:
