I have an 03 Z. I put a new intake on it and noticed that my stock airbox has a pretty small opening in it. Barely bigger than the circle you can make with your finger and thunb. I also heard that the 03 MAF does not have the screen and mine does. Can anyone post a pic of there 03 stock airbox opening and MAF.

Sounds like someone at your dealer may have a coupe/vert with a Z06 lid and MAF, very interesting.

Hi WisconsinVETTE -

Starting in 02, none of them have screens from the factory -

best regards -

This might help, but it sounds like you don't really have a 2003.

Have you looked under the car at the H-pipe to see if you have pup cats as well? Either that or check your VIN to make sure you actually have an 03 and not an 01.

Yes it does. The one w/o the screen will flow better. I would take that one back to the dealer and ask for the correct MAF and the air box as well if that is the wrong one.

Sounds like someone at the dealership has a 01 and switched the MAF and the air box to me. :smash:

How do you get a Z to Germany, COT Z06? When I was in Italy, I talked with some Americans over there driving motorcycles around the mountains but I didn't ask how they got there. I rented a "scooter" in Elba, but these people had their own bikes I think.
