I finally went down to the local chevy dealer and fit myself into a z06. It was comfortable but I could of used an extra couple of inches in headroom but I'll deal with it. The one problem I have now is that since this is the last few months of prodution on the c5 z06 should I buy it now and take the huge hit in depreciation, or wait until they start producing the next generation z06 or whatever it will be called? I'm also figuring into the equation that this dealer was giving me a really great deal on the 2004 and I know that even when the next generation c6 z0 comes out theres going to be some heavy markups. :banghead:
The next gen Z06 will not be out until 06. And deals will be few and far between. All of those that bought C5's are looking forward to trading up to a C6. If you have never owned a Corvette your first one will always be extra special. Just a bit of FYI, the C6 will be even smaller than the C5.
I've tried the other super cars out there and came back to the C5. There is nothing out there at any price that is better. If your getting a good deal from your dealer take it. And enjoy it now, you don't know what tomorrow will bring.
