Default Exhaust Decision

Here goes. I was just about ready to order the Borla Stingers and out comes the new B&B 4 tip Bullets. The pricing on both systems are very comparable. In your opinion what would be the better system for aggressive sounding exhaust. I am more concerned with sound than added HP give or take a few HP here or there. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

I am having the same dilemma about the exhaust. Will wait and see, leaning toward the BB but the stingers are a proven system and like the sound clips better so far on the 2 instead of the 4 tip stingers But I like the look of the 4 either the round or oval

The best way to decide is to hear them both in person. Not easy this time of year especially(not many car shows near winter), but, summer brings them all out. That is the best way.

Having said that, if you are a member here, asking opinions, I'd say wait until we get a few Bullet systems out there in the hands of Forum Members and hear what they have to say. The difference, other than the tips, between the two, will come down to resonance in the cabin as a meter of tolerance for buyers. HP gains will be very similar. Take those opinions and weight them out and make up your mind.

I heard the bullets at FunFest and a friend bought them for his '01 Z06. Should be here any day now.

They are slightly deeper than stingers (which I have). The tips are VERY well done. The sound maybe slightly louder than Stingers. The test car was a Vert, so hard to tell what the cabin noise is.

The design is clean and simple without the 180 bend of the Stingers. I would have purchased them had I not already had my Stingers, but, they are so close I am not sure you'd know the difference. I'm looking at long tube headers next...

If you like 'em loud, buy 'em.
