if you really want the loudest and most affordable exhuast, bar-none, you should just make side exit exhausts after the headers and maybe a cross over in between......
of course there are many other associated issues with this.... sills melting, heat, burning your legs, and oh...emissions.

I have looked at pics of the 2 tip borla stingers... and it seems like the piping that should be coming over the half shafts or whatever aren't going all the way over like all the other systems, does anyone know what I am talking about?
So I think that the '01 Z06s still have the pre-cats in the system. I think that this is the same as that portion on a C5. Anyway, Borla Stingers are not as loud on that system as they are on '02 and '03 Z06s where the pre-cat are not there. And you would probably be able to live with the resonance if you used Stingers on your configuration.

So...do you think the B&B PRT's are louder than the SLP Loudmouths??
Well, I think they're as loud, but I also think the B&B Prt's Look a lot better on the car !! :smash: :yesnod: :hurray: :chevy
I did a side by side comparison once. This guy was reving his PRT's on an 02 Z. I fired up the loudmouths on my 99 and put him to shame. :D
As far as the looks go the original LMs looked like crap. I had custom tips.
