i put the 2 tips on a stock exhaust on my blown z06 and they are *loud*.
today, my local dealer installed a bassani x-pipe and rebolted the b&b's to it and they sound lower, quieter and much nicer.
the stock 'h' section is not full diameter as it appears, the inner pipe that connects the 2 legs is about 7/8" and the 2.5" is only a jacket.
