You're probably running rich. That's what happened to me too when I added the Vararam. Get someone to do a tech2 and see what you're LTFT's and FAR is.

Since the 01s have had problems with the piston rings maybe you should have a leak down test performed on the car.

I would still get it done...STD correction usually yields higher numbers than SAE which we all use. Your power may be in the 31xs corrected to SAE standards. Get a compression test at least.

Try and dyno one other place just for the hell of it.

Joe is right, SAE numbers are usually lower than STD/Ed Wright numbers.
You are under 320std according to that and there is something wrong.

also several other cars 2 mustangs dynoed pretty poopiety as well

the one mustang with mods had exhaust and intake on a 99gt and he only dynoed 213 rwhp they come with 260 so that comes out to only 244 cracnk HP

could it be sumthing with operator error???

also dyno in 4th correct?

It could be the dyno or correction factor but you never know unless you dyno somewhere else. An AF ratio in the 12s will not hurt dyno numbers that much if at all. You are down 40rwhp. Thats a lot.

I almost want to believe that there is a Dynojet virus in the air. Almost every modded car I have witnessed dyno here in Dallas over the last couple weeks has been down on power by 15-25 hp. I am talking about cars at LPE, MMT, and Speedtek at least. Maybe our cars are just messed up.

I am going to get my springs checked to make sure I am not having any valve float and might even get a compression test done. I am down about 15hp from where I think I should be at.

I may be in left field here but have you given any thought to taking the car to the drag strip?

An 01 with your mods should easily pull a 12.8/112...

IMO, it's the only to know for sure what kind of power it's generating.

Good luck!

Dont put so much emphasis on the dyno, they very a bunch from place to place and day to day. Could be a lot of things.

Your A/F looks pretty good, maybe 5HP in leaning it out to 13.1 but you have a good safe A/F for the street.

You should try and get ahold of ATAP to run a few logs. Look at your Air Intake Temps and see what they read, then look at your timing tables. Also look for Knock Retard.

SAE numbers are usually lower than STD/Ed Wright numbers.
You are under 320std according to that and there is something wrong.
SAE corrected numbers are corrected to a specific set of weather conditions. If you dyno in better weather than the SAE specific set of weather conditions then your uncorrected numbers will be higher than SAE.

When you did your run what was the ambient temp in the shop? If the shop air was fairly cold (60 degrees or less) and the BARO was fairly high then SAE correction is not going to add siginicant power.
