Today sucked it was pouring and windy in NYC today and I work outside. I just got home and thought to myself the only reason I work is becasue I want my 2004 z06. The thought of ripping through the gears in that car make a day of work like today seem worth while. Some might think I'm crazy but I just see it as someone trying to get their dream no matter what. I just had to get this off my chest as today was so horrible and I figure maybe some of you guys know what I'm talking about. :seeya
Been there my friend... Good hard honest work has it`s rewards. If a Z06 is your goal, i couldnt think of a better reward!! It`s worth the wait, and you will enjoy it even more. Good Luck and hang in!! :steering: :flag
I never thought we could have a new 03 z06, but with hard work, and a GREAT wife I might add, she pushed me to go for it ( not a very hard push :D ) no regrets! :smash:

At 20 yo, it's not hard to understand that it's the only reason you work. Just pray that in 10 years, you are working for other reasons. A Corvette is only a material thing....nothing more nothing less...other than where people's values are. Everyone needs an outlet. Just make sure your priorities are where you really want them. :yesnod:
Be careful. With a new Z you will likely catch mod fever, and another reason to work. Good luck.
BTW, I got a second job after getting my Z. Just a little something extra, 20 hours a week(my main job is a 20 hour a week job too) now I hope to get my wheels, headders, and a good dyno tune. Then Heads and a cam, and, and, and, well you get the idea :D

Well guys at 20 going to be 21 in less than 24 hours, I have all of my priorities in order. I'm in the process of recieving a business degree, I'm 3/4 of the way to owning my own home thanks to a business I started while in high school. Ever since I got my first car at 16 which was a fine car lol a PT cruiser I've wanted a vette. Hell I wanted a vette since I was 5 when my father brought home his first vette. I had a rough day yesterday and thanks for all of the positive comments  <---- tomorrow I'll be legal
I'm 22 and I just graduated from college and got my first real job in May, I went from a 95 Camaro Z28 with 142k to an 01 Z06 with 7800 miles, what a change! Keep up the hard work, it will pay off soon. I think I might be the youngest (or one of the younger) self-financed Z06 owner here, maybe you can upstage me soon!
Well I spent nearly 10 years in college working towards my degree. Took longer than most since I was taking night classes during my undergrad years. I didn't even contemplate buying a corvette until my last year of college. At that point I made it one of my goals.
Hard work could look like the picture below.
