I try to stay away from the rev limiter!
With my new mods there is no reason to press my engine to the limit!

oh i see :)

what I really meant was that I take the car up just before the redline point..not INTO the red
im not hitting the rev limiter when I do this......
just run it to the max up through 1st, 2nd, 3rd......

Well that is good to know!
It would not be nice to see a cracked engine with the fan belt all tangled up!
Keep the engine clean like this one!

Z06LES is correct. Put 7 quarts in it. I have 20,000 miles on my 03 Z06 with no oil consumption problems. I have the Hypertech computer upgrade so the rev limiter comes in at 7,100 RPM's. I don't ever hit the rev limiter now that I have the computer change. You can just feel the slight power change and shift.
