Funny how the tables turn on us. We always talk on here if a Mustang wins a race or a Civic that we always say, yeah they are faster but its still just a mustang or just a civic. How funny the Ferrari guy says, yeah I got beat but that guy still has to drive home just a Corvette.
:iagree: Same holds for the "If I put $50k in mods on my car I could smoke the Enzo and still have $500k in the bank." How many ricers do we here make a similar argument? They say they could smoke a vette (some are more honest and say they'd be in the same ballpark) if they modded their car to the same price as a stock Z06, and some of them are probably right. If you don't look at it stock-for-stock, then vehicle comparisons lose almost all meaning. Let's face it, the Enzo is superior. Is it's price:performance ratio way higher than a Z06? Hell yes, but I'd wager that if any of us had $10-20 mil in the bank, we'd have one in our garage :yesnod:

Good points all, but if I had that kind of scratch I think I'd opt for a Ferrari F-40 and mod it! LOL!!! :D Better yet, in all seriousness, I still just don't like the looks of the Enzo. If I had the money for the Enzo I think I'd rather have a '62 Ferrari 250 GTO.
Just visited the Ferrari website. It mentioned that they make only 399 of them. Looks like I have a better chance of winning the lottery than meeting up with one of them. Oh, the vette always gets "looks" anywhere!!!!
"The Enzo, built in a limited run of 399, is an outstanding expression of the concept of extreme sportiness, developed for road use, yet epitomising the most advanced concepts of Formula 1 racing technology."
And only 49 are coming to the US... if I remember the stats correctly for the US import numbers...
What is the chance of meeting up with an Enzo on the local streets?????
Here in Miami ....a very good chance :D
:iagree: Even if they imported only 10 there is a big chance 2-3 of them would end up here.... There are several exotic dealers in the Greater Miami area. The market down here is huge.
They don't make the 550 Barchetta anymore do they?
I like Enzo and if I had the cash sitting around I'd have one also. It may not be the best looking Ferrari, but the performance is astounding.
The 550 Barchetta will be on display!!
My personal Favorite is the 512 Boxer, 12cyl, 6 webers, performance 0-60 4.5 secs. 6 mpg. Och!! Later models went to fuel injection, 8 mpg. still Och.
Next the Testarossa 512m better engine 12 cyl. SEEEXXXXYY. :yesnod:
The Cavallino Classic is a fund raiser for two charities , Childrens Wish Foundation, and the American Council of the Blind.
On a race track it's still the driver, I've blown past some hyper exotics on the track, and I've had much lesser cars blow past me. But if you gave me an Enzo I'd keep it :yesnod: :)
The Enzo has some maintance issues that say "Return to Factory!" If you have these problems you will need a lot more $$ than the $$ to purchase it. However, anyone who purchases one probably could care less! I think they are the best sounding car in the world.
