If anyone of you vette lovers live in southern california and want to see beautiful very expensive cars including the enzo, then go to the CRYSTAL COVE EVERY SATURDAY MORNING STARTING AT 7AM and you wont believe what drives into the parking area..........this is between north laguna and corona del mar.....right on the ocean. there are about 100 cars there and many of them you have never seen before. enjoy!!
A well known Seattle collector brought his Enzo to Pacific Raceway last summer during a track day. He is a respected driver, but was clearly not driving the Enzo at the limit. Check out this video: http://www.thecatranch.org/movies/Enzo.wmv
The video is shot from a track prepared Cobra Mustang. The Mustang catches the ZO6 in turn 2 after the ZO6 catches the Enzo in a no passing zone. Coming out of turn 3B, both pass the Enzo. Yes, I agree it wasn't a fair comparison, but it is probably the only time I will see an Enzo, let alone be able to say I passed it. Going down the hill, the driver got on the Enzo, and even over my own noise I could hear the snarl.
No telling what we could do with even $100,000 in mods on the Zmonster. That way we'd likely beat the Italian Stallion and still brag that we saved a half million bucks.
I really, really doubt Enzo owners would give a Ratz azz. :smash: :smash:
:lolg: :lolg: :withstupid: Definately not apples to apples. You buy an Enzo 'cause you can, not 'cause it's get a few extra hp. Even if you pump another 100G into the Z, he could still brag...I would. :D

Good video...how come nobody tapped him in the corner. I think I'd have to play it a bit safe with a car like that too. :steering: Racer44 has a good F40 story. :yesnod:

Ferrari picked the owners from previous owners who had owned at least 15 Ferraris (?) and completed two surveys. I don't believe anyone who had ever bought one and flipped it (more $) was included, or ever will be, in the survey or future exclusive offerings. If anybody finds one for less than a million e-mail me and I'll make it worth your while. BTW - the owners of the Enzos HAVE to offer it back to the dealer before they can sell it.
I've seen a yellow one on the road in Greensboro, NC. There's a dealership called Foriegn Cars Italia and they've sold two of them (red and yellow). I went in and looked at the red one, but decided to go with the chevy instead :jester: The yellow one is owned by a furniture tycoon who lives in Highpoint, NC. My mom swears she's seen it on road too after I showed her the read one at the dealership
Are you sure its not owned by the guy whos in charge of KB Homes? His car was featured in Car & Driver and he's from NC. It was yellow with tan interior and he bought the car from Foreign Cars Italia. He had one of the first in the country.
The Cavallino Classic was too die for!!!! 3 Red Enzos much prettier in the flesh than pictures , 512 Testas , Maseratis, Dino's ,288 GTO's, 308's 328's , Boxers, some I never heard of, Bud Root was there he spotted me and called me over, too show me the new "Scarpetti" 540 hp 12 cyl 4000lbs, beautiful, and full of Luxury, I'm In love!! 13.7 1/4 mile though, etc. actually the Parking lot was a better show, lambo's, Ferrari's all vintages,EVEN PORCHES SHOWED UP and were AWE struck!!!!!!!!!!! from all over the country . If you missed it, There is another one next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAMA MIA!!!!!!! :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
My Knees are still weak!!!! Such artistic splender!!!!!! Pinnafarina at his BEST!!! :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
For the kind of money one of those Enzo's cost, I'd buy a Mosler, which has a good old Z06 motor in it, mod it, then kick the crap out of that Ferrari kit car looking thing!!!! :yesnod: Actually, I think that it could keep up with the Ferrari just the way Mosler sells it (the R model, not the S model), and it looks a WHOLE lot better than the Enzo (just my opinion).
The Enzo is a Great investment, if you're rich, and can afford it (which I'm not, and I can't), but as far as Ferrari's go, it's not the best looking one that they've ever built. I'm impressed by it's performance, and they sound nice, but even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy one. Once again, just my .02, and you get what you pay for! :D
