I've had one of the hinged center compartment covers. They work great and provide plenty of access. If you're going to use a mat I think you need to get the covers for all of the compartments.

Just received my cargo cover/w Z06 logo, and the divider. Divider must be pushed ahead far enough otherwise cargo cover will not lift off. I still have to mount the brackets for the cargo cover. The back of the divider needs black carpet as the foam looks tacky. $80 extra for the logo is a little steep, what do you do. Bye-bye road noise.

I bought the center cover that goes on the coupe to cover the large well. Sits perfectly on top of it just does not lock like the coupe, always could use velcro if I want but so far no need for it.

I bought the carpeted partition along with the covers for the center (hinged), and the 2 sides (velcro), from Andy at Z06 Parts and couldn't be happier with the purchase. The material is an exact match to our carpet, and their service is the best. They might be a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
These mods really dress up and finish the interior, and the center cover now hides the 12 disc cd changer.

I bought the regular GM cover for the center, not hinged but just pick up if need for storage in the well. Exact fit & look but will look at where you got yours for the side covers since the coupe covers will not fit.
