[Z06] Pinnacle cleaning kit

Pinnacle cleaning kit
Bought a Pinnacle cleaning kit from autogeek.net last week and put it to the test today. Used the shampoo, paint cleaner, clay bar and wax. All I can say is this stuff is awesome. The wax was extremely easy to apply and take off. Couldn't be happier.

Curious, is your Vette dark color? Did you end up with any swirl marks at all. You know the little spider web kind you can't see in the garage, but can see in the sun. :cheers:

I bought the same kit a few weeks ago.
The stuff's great! One of the easiest to apply & remove I've ever used.

Just posted some shots we took today and you can see how deep the blue is now on the Z. :lol:
I have about 24 coats of Zaino on the car and 3 coats of Pinnacle. :yesnod:
I'll never use Zaino again on the Z as the Pinnacle really brings out a real deep blue now. :yesnod:

I don't know enough about car detailing to effectively answer that question. I know Zaino makes some products that are supposed to eliminate swirls. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I dont feel the Zaino removes swirls that well. I used Zaino for years until I switched to Pinnacle Souveran. They claim Z5 will remove small scratches and swirls but most people agree if you have swirls you have to use other products such as 3M to get them out. I even saw a post where a guy claimed Zaino got rid of his orange peel... :D

I have used it in conjunction with the 3M hand rubbing compound and it works great at getting rids of swirls.

I found that Z5 will not remove swirls, your best bet is buy 3M swirl remover,
they offer it for light and dark cars.
I have used it in conjunction with the 3M hand rubbing compound and it works great at getting rids of swirls.
