i have had this problem for about 4 months now. when doing 1-2 and 2-3 shifts at high rpm's the clutch completely sticks in! i have to pull the pedal up with my feet. i had it in to the shop and they replaced everything clutch related! i have had it back now and have only had about 1000 miles on the new clutch and its doing it again! i was wondering if this was one of the release springs. because when i shifted into 3rd the clutch did not completely comeout and when i got home the clutch was burning really bad it stunk my garage up for the rest of the day! If any body has any info plz post it!
I used to work for a clutch company actually used to work for the competitor of the company that makes the clutch for the Z06, so i have actually torn down one of there clutches to see how it works. if you are having problems shifting a low rpms it could be you throw out bearing which makes the clutch release so u can shift. However if u are just having problems when shifting at high rpms and u push in the pedal and it stays down that is what we called stay out. In other words the rotating forces on the cause it to stay released. Once you slow the engine down does the clutch rengage?
If you can a little more desriptive on how u were driving when it happens engine rpm and pedal feel i should be able to help u more i used to do warranty returns for the clutch company i worked for so i am pretty good at this. :seeya
