I dont want the dealer telling me that my new intake voids warantee work or something like that. Ive heard some horror stories and am wondering what i can do to the car without worrying? Thanks!
Re: What mods can i do without warantee issues? (PrayN4C5)
It seems nobody really knows for sure on that one.
Its kind of a gray area. :smash:
The guy at my chevy place said catbacks and airfilters are okay.
I have heard people on forums say that evean a Cags eliminator caused someone to not be covered when their trans failed. :chevy
Re: What mods can i do without warantee issues? (PrayN4C5)
Of course the modded part of your car will no longer be covered under warranty but my understanding is that by law, modding the intake, for instance, cannot invalidate the warranty on other components (e.g. camshaft, exhaust, suspension, etc.).
