Manual tranny question...
I was changing the trans fluid in my Z's gearbox and noticed that above the fill/sensor plug there is another plug/sensor with the electronic end capped off. Right next to it is a pigtail from the wiring harness that has a connector that is also capped. It looks like they go together. Is this the plug for the trans temp sensor that I think gets put in the loop for European export cars? If so, can it be enabled? Is there a software update required? Please chime in if you know.

:lurk: Since Z06's have the overheat warning you know the PCM is seeing the data and knows the tranny temps. Why not program the DIC to show it since the data is already being collected? Anyone figure out a way to do it?
