Mods really work!
Tonight I went over to the local hangout/car meet and ended up cruizing w/ my buddy Tom who has a bone stock 2001 Z06. We got on the highway to go down to the ocean front and had a little fun. From 60 in 3rd through most of 4th I put two cars on him. When I had only the Vortex and Stingers I'd barely put and distance between us at all. Maybe my door to his nose.
Then thuis dude on a big harley comes flying up. We thought he was trying to get our plates, but he guns it and takes off in the center lane :cool: I go right and Tom goes left. We gave him a running start but it was no contest. The bike was faster than I'd expected, but no mach for a Vette.
