Well after roadtesting a new ZO6, and then not being able to think about anything else--- i came across a good deal or at least what i thought was a good deal----i just picked up a new black 03 left over ZO6 and i cant believe i did it. I already have a 91ZR1, i love em both but i think the ZR is gonna lose its spot to the ZO6---hard to part with an old friend but to expensive to keep both. If anyone may be interested in the 91zr1 drop me a note and i will fill you in-----

I know exactly the feeling - still have my 90 zr1 up for sale after buying an 04 Z16. Unreal improvements in 14 years.

Not really quicker - my zr1 was over 80mph in second, and the high rpm pull is better in the zr1, but just overall the whole c5 platform is sooooo superior.
I haven't made a long road trip yet, and the local roads aren't great for high speed runs - too many cops - so I haven't taken the z06 up over 80.
The zr1 is still one of the greatest cars made, vette or otherwise.
