After many years of trying to "sratch the itch" (Miata, S2000, RSX, TSX, Cougar) I have finally found the spot; a 2002 Black Coupe. I don't know yet whether to drive it or just sit there and pinch myself...
I have been reading many of the exchanges on Corvetteforum and am extremely impressed by the level of intelligence, decorum, respect for others and flat out joy spread amongst the members and am glad to say I will play whatever small part I can. I have much to learn....Thanks

I think that most of us are still pinching ourselves I know I do every time I get into it and it's been two years now. Glad to have you aboard. Welcome to the greatest source of info for "your Corvette" (sounds good doesn't it). And we all have a lot to learn. There are no stupid questions here so don't be intimidated. Keep those post coming. Miles of smiles and save the wave man!!! Have a great weekend.
It's the mods I'm afraid of.....I remeber when my daughter was small.....Barbie Doll 7 bucks and then 200 bucks in Barbie "stuff"....am I headed for a similar fate (without the cross dressing I mean...)?
Well I could take pictures of new floor mats and the K&N replacment for the stock filter....with two kids in college that will have to hold me until I win the lottery.....

Once you get mod fever it is very hard to stop. I started off slow and have been doing many more mods lately. If you have any type of skills and have the ***** to do a DIY, you can paint your fuel rail cover and other engine components, paint your own hood liner and even your own brake calipers.
When you do a DIY it really saves money and you feelk great about what you have done.
Click on sig to get to my website and you can see many of the DIY mods that I have done
Welcome to the family, your post sums up the familiy as a whole. The vette can become an addiction. There is no cure - so just enjoy and go with the flow. The journey will be worth it.
