What size brackets did you use to mount your wheels to your garage wall? Did you need to reinforce the wall or did you just put a few screws into the studs? I need to put my wheels somewhere and I liked what I saw in one of your posts a little while back.
Joe, don't make me come over there. I have been busy all weekend. Plus, I figured out how to log on to the new forum MUCH sooner than you did.
jdmvette, I have drawings of the parts and a parts list if you want to make your own. I can email thos to you from work tomorrow. The only thing you need to do is have the flange nuts welded to the pipes and the pipes welded to the brackets. The rest you can do yourself. The brackets are simply bolted to the wall studs with lag bolts. No problem holding the wheels at all.
I'll send the info out to all who asked in the morning.
One tip - cut some round cardboard near the diameter of the tires and place them between the tires and the wall if you don't want to mar the wall with black tire marks. Or use something that separates the wheel from the wall.
It's a nice mod that frees up some floor space and it's cheap to do.
