Do your homework. There are lots of choices and strong proponents on many. Decide where you want to end up and pick your Air Filter accordingly. Save some $ instead of upgraging time after time. I've gone with Dual cone K&N filters, Z06 front screens , cut out air intakes, ported TB, High Flow MAF etc.. You get the picture. Good luck and let the mods begin!
I've got the twin cone K&N set up on mine and am happy with the looks, results etc. but there are lots of threads on this subject, just search a little and you'll find it!

There are a lot of choices you can make in this area. I have the Blackwing filter, but there is the Halltech Stinger, K&N, Vararam, Vortec, etc. Just depends on how easy an install you want, how much money you have, etc.
