Where specifically is it squeaking? BTW, have you cleaned and lubed your weatherstripping lately? That will have a lot to do with keeping the car watertight and reducing some of the squeaking noises you might be hearing.

I had this same problem with my '99 Coupe. I used some white silicone grease on both parts of the two front latches. The striker plate on the top of the windshield and on latch mechanism istelf. It solved the problem for good.

The grease on the latch area would be my recommendation too, along with lubricating the weatherstripping. Good luck - squeaks can be so annoying.
