Default How Much For S/c Install?

I bought vettewrecks stuff and I am wondering what a decent price is to install this stuff.I am doing the hood myself(paint and install). The rest is as goes;blower cam,non intercooled mag, comp cam springs, dual guage pillar pod, boost a pump which I was told I probably don't need and double roller timing chain.Everything including dyno time.I want to know what it should cost for me to drop off everything and pick it up done. What do ya'll think? :flag

It depends on the shop you use, of course, but in general:

Cam and springs install: $500 - $800
Supercharger install: $1500
Dyno tuning: $150 - $250 per session. Usually $500 will you get there.

Don't know how much the timing chain would be. I would expect a few hours of labor for that so figure $180 or more.

You're best bet is to talk with the local shops and find out what their rates are. Sometimes you can get them to do a "package deal" for you if you do everything at once. But be aware that most shops don't always like to have parts brought in from the outside. Obviously they prefer you to buy everything through them. So that may effect how flexible they are with install costs.

Good luck!

i was hoping it would only be around $1500-$2000.I can understand that shops like you to buy from them rather then bring your own parts.I don't like people coming to my work wanting to do that.

I don't think the boost a pump was needed until '03....maybe '02.

It would cost around $2000 labor at my shop.

The range of $1500-2000 should be about right.
