I guess I deserve all the harrassment for not explaining myself. Without a doubt, if the top is down, the windows are down! No if ands or buts!!! What's the point of owning a convertible if the top is down and the windows are up?
The problem I have is when I park the car and need to put the top up for security reasons, the windows roll down, obviously. I then need to roll them back up. This is what prompted my question.
Thank you, all, for the recommendation of the Window Valet. I am assuming this product is an easy add-on (and I don't need to go to Chevy or a local stereo dealer to have it installed)?
i absolutely could not agree with you more. nothing more aggrevating than cruising with the top down. then when you get to your destination, you put the top up for security, then you have to get back in the damn car and roll the windows up! GRRR!!!
i would much rather just have to open both doors, especially since i'm generally with my sweetie anyway. just very, very annoying in a $50k car.
It makes me violently ill to see any convertible with the top down and the windows up. So much so that some friends of mine will get in my car and run the window up on the passenger side just to watch me have a fit.
When my coupe is topless, windows must be down. If it's too cold, put the roof back on. Nothing looks sillier then driving around with the top down/off with the windows up.
Agree, you have to get back in to latch the top anyway, unless you want to walk all the way around to the other side. Valet would be nice to let all the hot air out though. Especially here in FL.
