you have to read the warranty to see what it covers Did you get somethng to read when you bought the car ? What you have been receiving as advice here are opinions what you need is to read the warranty materials
Some warranties do cover even normal wear and tear . . . they do that for competitive reasons. If you have read the warranty then you would know . . . the terms of the coverage . . . I have not read it because to date I have not needed it. don't accept laymen's opinions
Just as a further warning to those in bug infested areas, bug repellant also permanently stains leather. In the summer I alsways put a towel down on my leather just to be safe.
Thanks for the replies. I really posted this as a "heads up" so you don't make the same mistake. The damage is hardly noticible and as information the lotion was applied while I was lying on the beach, I don't put it on my legs just for a drive. Now, the top of my bald head is another matter.
Just seems unusual that a little suntan lotion would disolve the vinyl finish as I've never heard of that or seen it in anyother car I have owned.
