Default Brake rotors

I remember reading a post about brake rotors from NAPA. I went today to pick some up for a friends 2000 vette (front Rotors) and they were 19.00 each. I started laughing because they were so cheap and if I wanted to be a bigger spender I could have gotten the crossed drilled heavy duty ones for 45.00 each. Now I hope the quality is better than the factory ones because the factory ones warp by looking at them. Anyway I'll let you all know how they are in quality when I pick them up later today.

Several are running these rotors without issues. They will work fine. I have a set in the garage too. I just installed a set of drilled/slotted.zinc washed rotors from Sportbrakes and LOVE them. All 4 were about $250........awesome rotors.

Nice to know there are some good, inexpensive rotors out there that actually work well.

FYI, a "trekkie" is a somewhat demeaning term while "trekker" is the word those attending the conventions prefer, as it denotes a "healthy interest" in the sci-fi series rather than a blind, rabid fanatacism. That's just FYI, though.

Sorry man but Trekker is the 'nu vou' way of saying it. I'm old school with my star trek. I do have a blind, rabid fanatacism.

The NAPA rotors are made by Raybestots and of higher quality then OEM.

many ppl use them on the track with great results

They may be inexpensive but they are not cheap. However, if you really want to feel have the best brakes, send me $500 and I will go to Napa and buy the rotors for you. Of course shipping is extra

Sportbrakes has a great product as well and they are zinc coated. The regular rotor is about the same price as the Raybestos regular uncoated rotor or add another $50 and get drilled / slotted or just slotted.

I heard the C7 will have an antimatter/matter engine pushing 4,000,000 rwhp and 5,000,000 trq. Top speed of 300,000 miles per second. Can't wait to see what the Z06 version specs will be.

That is a very good price for some replacement rotors, even if you went with the cross-drilled ones. Hope they last better than the stock ones.

I think you may be disappointed with these also. Not because they warp but because I think you are a victim of pad buidup. In 4 years of quite frequent road racing I have never seen or felt a warped rotor. I have felt a lot of pulsating brake pedals but after a few hard runs the pulsing goes away. Take a look at:
