Default Aluminum pedals

I am going to install the aluminum accel and dead pedals tomorrow. Noticed that the arm(?) for the accel pedal is black where the clutch and brake pedals appear to be gray/silver. Has anyone painted the accel arm to match or just not worry about it? What would be a good paint to use? Thanks.

IMHO it was better to leave it black. The clutch and brake pedals are aluminum including the arms, whereas the acel arm is black painted steel. Since the dead pedal doesn't have and arm and is just mounted on black plastic, it looks better to just leave the acel arm black as it is then balanced out by the black plastic above the dead pedal, and the clutch and brake pedal match each other with the aluminum arms. Just my .02 cents.

Interesting idea. I didn't paint mine.

Here's a pic:

Thanks for the replys. Will leave the arm the way it is. Nice looking pedals on your car, Tiger Shark. After seeing them, I went and installed the pedals a few minutes ago. I think i got the spring on correctly. Will try it tomorrow. Again, thanks for everyones input.
