I just saw this on the local news here in Amarillo on KVII. 25 local vette owners did a caravan and collected roughly 80 fans and air conditioners and donated them to the less fortunate in the area to help them deal with the heat.
Great footage of Vettes in the caravan. It turned into a small car show. I was working from my hotel room all day and had no idea!
Or I guarantee I'd have found them 
The coverage of the Vette owners was very flattering. I almost choked up.
