I just bought a 99 black on black vert last night at my local dealer for $25K & some change. It has a 6 speed. That was what I wanted too. My 93 I traded in was auto & always liked manual better.

Hey, thanks for the link! It looked like a nice car, I talked to him, he came down on the price, and I bought it! 
I have muscular dystrophy and cannot depress a clutch anymore so I needed an automatic. When I was younger I NEVER bought automatics willingly! Without a good reason I can't understand why anyone would want an automatic in any kind of sports car. But don't get me wrong -- I love my A4 C5. And one reason I wanted a Corvette was that even with an auto they still run strong.

The only way I would get an A4 is if the price was a steal. And looking at that ad, the guy needs to drop the price 5k for me to even look at that car. get what you want or you'll regret it.
