Default First mod done. Need input for next...

Had Corsa Indys installed this weekend. Left stock X-pipe. The results are great! Just a hint louder than stock at idle. When cruising, quite as a mouse. Get on it and the sound is fantastic. Very little popping on decel.

My question... What's next? I am not interested in changing any other components of the exhaust (no headers, x-pipe, long pipes, etc.).
Are there small mods I can make to squeeze out a little more horsepower? Im' not looking to do the Dyno thing or race the car. Just thinking that if there are liltte mods (under $400?) which can give me a little more HP, why not do them?

Thanks!

Depends on what you want out of your car and how you itend to drive it. You might consider.......

For power - New air induction - filter, etc.
For handling - Sway bars, shocks, spring configurations

You might consider joining a Corvette club and finding out what others do, how they drive, etc, before throwing money at your car.

My 2 cents anyway.

But mainly - ENJOY THE CAR

From the sounds of it, you dont plan on doing a H/C, supercharger, or any other power adder like that. I would enjoy the car as is, maybe go to a driving school so you learn to get the most out of the car. Then just drive it and enjoy it! (You probably wont feel the little gain from an air intake, so why spend the money?)

Automag928,

Great perspective! You're right. The little HP gains probably won't be felt by the average driver. Going to sit back and enjoy. I have a black vert (2001. bought it a few months ago.) that has a whole lot of minor clearcoat scratches. That bothers me more than anything! I'll focus my attention and research on finding a good shop to buff out scratches. Having a glass finish will be more rewarding since no one can 'see' a few more horses.

THANKS!

From the looks of things you are content with the vette...
...spend the money on gas and enjoy the drive

I had my car dyno tuned today. The results were impressive. I would highly recommend that to anyone.
