Weekend Trip
Took my Vette for a weekend trip from NJ to CT. Found to be very comfortable for the 2 plus hour trip. Saturday was sunny so I beat the car a bit, but Sunday it was overcast so I just cruised in 6th gear to see MPG performance. I averaged 29.7 MPG with speed average 64.3 (Stupid NJ Parkway caused my 30 MPG rating to drop).
Seems like great gas mileage for a car of this performance. Now I wonder what will happen when I change the air filter system in the next few weeks.

I replaced my stock filter and air lid with a K&N filter and Z06 air lid and my MPG increased. [30.7 MPG is my best so far]

I was running off the OEM air filter and I should have changed it before I left which was the plan until time ran out.
I went out Sunday got a new FRAM air filter and replaced the old dirty one so I am expecting a slight (very slight) increase in effeciency. I can't wait to get the new air filter system in place so I can clean them at my will.

Sounds like you had a nice trip. When I changed my stock air filter for a Blackwing, my MPG really did not change much. But the response improved.
