Got out the wife's hairdryer (I don't need one ) last night, and removed the ridiculous Warning! labels on the sunvisors. All went fine, but there is some residual glue/goo on the visor. I tried heating it with the h/d, and then stuck some duct tape to it in the hope it would come off when I peeled off the d/t. Only marginally successful.
Is there another process I can try that won't harm the sunvisor material but will get rid of the goo? Thanks.
Go to your local auto parts store and buy a spray can of BRACLEAN (yes brake cleaner) I bought the generic brand from Advanced Auto for .99.
Spray it on a clean terry cloth towel and wipe away from the grain (if you can tell which way the gain is). Trust me this stuff wil remove the adhesive and not leave any scent or oily film.
It works. Found this tip in another forum (I know the mod from St Louis if that's a hint) and that's what is recommended and used over there with great success.

Also GOO Gone works--any Home Depot or Hardware store
I used a 3M Scotch Adhesive Remover Pen, its Citrus Based and worked pretty good for me it didn't change the color of the fabric at all and didn't leave at grease film either. You can get it at Staples or any other office supply place.
