Default Car Cover!

Where is a good place to purchase a car cover for my new Vert, so it will not get dust on it, while being stored in the garage. Or maybe I do not need one, since I take her out almost everyday! I don't think she has not seen a day that she has not gone for a spin to some place or another!

Just bought one from [URL=http://ww1.autoanything.com] for my 2002 vert. Was a Noah cover made by covercraft, fits great and keeps the dust off while I'm commuting during the week.

I heard that the Weathershield is the one to go with because you can wash it at home in a standard washing machine and it folds up very small Costs a bunch though

Daphne - I have a Duststop cover that I got from Griot's Garage. the nice thing about this cover is that if is custom fit for each car, and is specifically made for your stated purpose - dust in the garage. It is very light weight and easy to handle. Because it is not waterproof, I beleive it could be washed and dried in a commercial washing machine (mostly because of it's size).

Here's a webpage........

http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog....2500&SKU=92440

Griot's isn't the cheapest source for things in the world, but they sell good stuff and give great customer service!

I have purchased a number of covers from California Car Covers.

The ones I purchased were in the $350 (each) range, however, they come in colors, and embrodery which I really like

Quality and fit are great, longevity is also a factor I liked.

Lostsw of $$$'s for a cover, but IMO worth every penny.

I got a flannel lined cover from Mid America. It suits my needs perfectly - which sound similar to yours.

I don't see a need for a cover in the garage if you are going to use the car on a regular basis unless you have conditions around you garage that attracts dirt. Like the wind always blows into the garage - or you are in a dusty environment.

I used a cover on a Quasar Blue C4 in my work parking lot but not in my garage. My TR C5 goes about 3 weeks inside before I notice dust.

if you are driving your car almost everyday i would recommend that you definately DO NOT put a car cover on it.

i guarantee that putting a car cover on and off everyday will scratch your clearcoat.

try autoanything.com.

I got the "dusttop" by covercraft for my C5. Its for in the garage only, not outside use. Works great. It is custom fit. Soft finish. No dust now.

But, car covers do come in handy from time to time. Mine is a Wolf if that helps.

How about a CarCapsule? They are the inflatable bubble covers that circulate the air to prevent moisture, dust, etc... from getting in. I heard they were a great way to store cars, and I am planning on getting one when and if I get a C5.
