It's not easy to describe as a stock C5 is a fantastic machine to drive. It far out performs what most people are accustomed to. Handling, power, top speeds are all amazing.

For me, lowering the car, adding performance sway bars and shocks to a Z51 suspension has made this the most incredible car I've owned as far as handling. That prior car list includes Porsches and BMWs.

A C5 (mainly as in Z06) driven by a skilled autocross driver is a thing of beauty to watch as it goes around a course and mops up competition.

All I can tell you is that the car is capable of going a lot faster than the driver is.

And I've got over 20 speeding tickets on record.

A C5 drives great. Precise handling, very comfortable, lots of power and good fuel economy are part of the package. The C6 should be just a good, if not better.

The C5 is a blast to drive! It's comfortable enough to be a daily driver and really eats up the miles on those long road trips.

First, welcome to the Vette club. I think you'll love it. The C5's drive great. If you really want to know how a C5 handles go to a local Vette get-together and ask for a ride. You might be surprised how eager other Vette owners are to show off their ride. Don't forget to wave ..

( Please turn off your Caps Lock, someone might think you are screaming ).

Cheers,

Mark

Just go to the dealer where you ordered your car and tell them you want to drive a C5. Or really any dealer will let you drive one.

It's Saturday now... In a few hours when the dealers open, go take one for a drive. And congrats on the C6
