Default looking for new wheels

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43958

I have started looking for some different wheels and I came across these guys on ebay. Has anyone here bought wheels from them? They have a lot of good feedback...and tons of auctions running at all times...
my question is, why are these wheels so cheap?
Is this a deal where they are cheap reproductions and the quality isnt there?
Should I consider these or should I

sorry, I had to use that little guy

Those are from "Corvettes of Houston", a forum sponsor. I've been thinking about those same wheels and I asked here a couple of weeks ago and "Corvettes of Houston" was receommended as a reputable vendor. Can't tell you much about the wheels themselves, I haven't bought any yet either but, like you, I'd love to hear from someone who has.

those are not from Corvettes of Houston. Corvettes of Houston ebay ID is COH1, this guy is Moore9911.
This place is out of Sarasota Florida. If these were from Corvettes of Houston I would have bought them already

Personally, I would go with a forum vendor like COH, House of Wheels, Xtreme Motorsports, etc. Their quality and customer service is great.

I think the old addage "you get what you pay for" applies in this situation. Be carful whom you buy from, that is a really cheap price.

Sorry, mea culpa. I've been keeping up with Corvettes of Houston on Ebay and the ad looked just like it. You can get those same wheels from Corvettes of Houston at this link:

Since that's all you wanted, go buy 'em and let me know how the are!

Two years ago I bought ZR1 type wheels for my '94 from Moore9911 in Florida. The quality was great and they still look fine. I would not hesitate to buy again from them. You can call them and they will answer any questions that you may have. The price is good. I agree in most cases you get what you pay for but you don't have to pay a fortune for everything.

There are some cheap wheels coming from China which are heavy and mediocre quality. Buyer beware.

You need to read all of the negative feedback on that e bay vendor and then decide if the possible hassle is worth a few $$$ saved. It aint to me. Just my .02.

houseofwheels98@aol.com. I bought some chrome z06 wheels from him a few months ago. He is great to deal with and offers great deals. Also, check the warranty on the wheels. His come with 3yrs warranty. Most others are only one year.

I bought a set of ZR1 polished aluminum wheels from them last year. Fast shipping and a quality product. They needed very little weight to balance and looked great!
