fun weekend
started out friday night. Attended a local car show and walked away with a real cool brass clock (one of 80 best of show awards) and a pair of jackstands for a door prize...whee....The vette gets a lot of attention with the polished maggie. On the way home I wuz just toolin through town (wabash , IN) and I have given sreious thought about doing my favorite second gear smoky tire thing, but the little sign on the dash (says " restrain dumbass") got my attention and I held off. I looked back a couple of blocks latter to see a car with roof lites behind me,,,whew,, that would have been a ticket....anyway, the car was a state police cruiser and when he came up beside me he revved up his motor and waved and smiled...I rolled down my window and asked him if he wanted to run em...he said sure and smiled...I laughed and pulled away real easy,,,,now thats a cool cop.....wonder if I coulda got away with a burnout?? Saturday led to a short cruise, got to drive a new chevy ss truck, they told me they were fast, not too bad, but I would not say fast...

Sounds like a fun filled weekend for sure. Spent mine waxing the car.
