Glad you didn't get a ticket. How did the cop not see this guy unless he turned off before he could get caught. Too bad you couldn't get the license number.
Wow theres a lot more Florida drivers in this forum than I thought! Most of the guys I see are 55+ and probably never take their car over the posted speed limit, or 2500 rpm
Ha, ha --- that's a good one. I'll make sure I tell that to the cop next time I'm stopped for 150+ on I-75.
Florida is now on its third generation of highway construction employees on I-4 and I-95.
The state puts up signs saying "Fines Doubled If Workers Present" but since no one has ever witnessed anyone actually WORKING out there - the police can't enforce that.
Hey Cajun you hit the nail on the head!!!! I've been in this country for 25 years and I-95 was in construction back then and it's still going!!!

I was just out in Florida and saw these signs all over and never once did see a single worker present...
The drive down to Florida was great, lots of long stretches of mostly empty highway where you can try to top out.
I just wanted to say.... if it was anyone who is reading this I would be happy meet up with you and teach you how to pick up your teeth with broken fingers. I hate idiots on the road that endanger everyone else.
1st off, shame on you for being mad at a fellow vette owner! Secondly, hes obviously is a young gun like 18 or so and we all acted like that when we were that age. He will learn the hardway as we all do, no need for a vigilante!
