I know this is silly, but I wanted a question answered! I have a very cool looking Lemans blue 04 Vert, I just got over 2 weeks ago. People love to look at that car. Is it the fact that a woman is driving such a hot car? Are they in shock? Or does my car just look that awesome? I always go by them and say, "Yes it is my car, what can ya do about it?" I love my car with all of my heart! It is soo much fun to drive!
I normally don't give the gals in the C5's a second look. I notice the car first...(of course) then I wave. Normally, I don't get a wave back if it's a gal driving. I don't think the ladies in the D.C. metro area know about the wave thing. They normally just keep their eyes forward or give me that "WTF are you gawking at???" look. And I ain't even that ugly!!!
I believe that basically the Vette is a guys car and most guys dreams. I know I pay particular attention to any woman driving one. Normally speaking the woman that drive Vettes are above the middle of the "hot" scale.

It seems that some girls love verts and others don't want to mess up their hair. Even fewer like riding on motorcycles. When I had a bike, the only girls who would ride were 16 and under. (I was 23 at the time)
It is probably both. I got my c5, not my first vette, and
one of my daughters first comments was she was not used to
people looking at her/us. I did not particularly notice it.
I think vettes catch attention. Then add to that most of them
are driven by guys. A girl driving a c5 stands out even more.

Say what?? I dunno, maybe it's just because San Diego girls are different, but in the Southern states, bikes, any bike, were girl magnets...I always had a spare helmet. Best I can say about Corvettes is that they get more attention, but not nearly as much as a bike.
My wife gets lots more looks driving than I do. It is amazing to me the contrast when I'm riding shotgun and she's driving. Perhaps Vettes denote muscle car persona and a women driving is more unique. I don't see it that way cause I know several female Vette owners, some who autocross their Z06, and I don't think it's unusual. Or, it could be that Vettes have sex appeal and women all have a special magnetism, so the attraction is compounded. All I know is Vettes are hot, and women are too, so the combination is wonderful.
