It will shut off after about 5-10 minutes.

It goes off after about 10-15 minutes.

If you open a door (or hatch) after it has shut off, it wil come on again for another 15 mins.

You shouldn't need to disconnect it. I have unplugged mine, only because it bugs me at car shows.
I used to show it with the light mostly on all day long (always opening the doors) and it was never a problem battery-wise.

The plug is on the passenger side right by the light. Easily unplugged.

It will shut off by itself after about 15 minutes. Otherwise, there is a connector down on the radiator shroud on the passenger side that can be taken apart and the light will stay off.

If you want to unhook the light just follow the wire down from the light itself and you will find out where to unhook it is very simple if i can do it so can you.

Mine goes out after about 10 minutes, but I did notice that it will re-cycle back on if the car is disturbed. Like at a car show and you open a door, or pop the deck lid etc. So I just unplug it to be sure I keep battery drain to a minimum.

If it's the original bulb, it's a refrigerator bulb and will work correctly. If you ever need to change it be SURE to find a refrigerator bulb!
