Here's my answer: At a distance from a stop, just let the car coast and slow down with the drag of the engine. Then as you get closer to the stop, apply the brakes lightly. Hopefully when you hit the brakes, you will be going very slow. Of course, this may not make you a favorite of all the people behind you.
I haven't used this stuff, but it seems to be getting high marks for keeping brake dust off of your wheels and/or making cleaning very easy. Apparently the surface gets so slick that brake dust blows right off. Got to try some myself. I haven't seen any rebuttal to these claims. I think a vendor on the forum is selling for about $16.00. If I can find the link I will post back here
