04 Column lock delete
I was talking with another Corvette owner today and said I was going to purchase the column lock delete for my 04, he said that the 04's do not have this problem, would any of you guys know if he is right? If this perhaps was a mid year fix how can I tell what month my car was built?

Is your 04 a C5, if the answer is yes, then at some point when it is very embarassing or inconvienent, you will go to full lock with no hope of unlock. Then up rolls the flatbed and it is off to the dealer for lift monkeys to grease the seats, finger spot the paint, overcharge and never get it right the first time. If that is what you want then trust your friend and never buy the CLB. Otherwise read the sticky on the CLB, the chap who put it together went to a lot of work for us.
