Thanks for all the responses. I love the car and it is hard to pull it in the garage and shut it off. I drive 40 miles one way to work so I don't drive it to work. However if I am off work and it is nice out I am in it. I am really pleased with the car and will get the chrome wheels soon. Down the road I will add some mods. To be honest I grew up a Mopar fan. I had a 71 Cuda, 67 Cuda, 48 Plymouth and a couple of Dodge trucks. I was not much of a Vette fan till recently and now I am hooked. But I have no clue as to some of the mods you guys list as to what they are. I guess in time I will know.

Congrats and welcome to CF. Stay tuned to CF and you'll find out a bunch about mods, etc.

But mainly just drive and enjoy your new Vette.

Congrats on the Corvette. I also bought a 99 back in November. I got it for 23,500 with 47,000 miles on it. Mine is torch red with lt oak interior. My buddy at the dealership had his eyes open for black or torch red. These were the two colors I liked best. I would have bought my vette if it was black, just happened to be torch red. You got a great deal. Car puts a smile on your face every time you look at it and drive it, right? Mine too. I don't know of any vehicle with this kind of power and mean look that you can buy at this price. The thing is, the LS1 is such a good engine that I don't think high mileage will be a problem. High mileage being 100K and over. Oh yeah, and remember to I've been blown off alot lately by vette drivers in my area But not all of them. It's a cool feeling when you wave to a fellow vette owner and get a wave back. Congrats. Hang out on the forum. You'll learn alot about your vette.

I think you got a good deal. I wouldn't part with my 50K mi 99 for $25,000.

25K from a dealer sounds good to me.
I bought my 99 coupe in May and paid 28,500. It had a little over 13,000 miles. But I liked it and to me it was worth it.
So if you like the car it was worth it.
Good luck with it.
So far the only thing I had to do to it was the steering lock recall, which GM paid for.
