Just got my first Vette. A 99 hatchback, black/black with every option and both tops. It only had a little over 15M on it. It has everything I wanted except chrome wheels which I plan to get down the road. Paid a little over $25K at a dealer. Not sure if that is a deal or not but I love the car. Just curious if that sounds right for that year with low miles?

Congrats on the new ride. I paid a little less for a 99 with more miles (40k) so sounds pretty fair to me (also my first Vette). Couple things you need to do.... First GET OUT AND DRIVE IT... second take pictures and post here! And third, make sure you wave at the other guys driving vettes (regardless of year, type, etc..).
Congrats again.
P.S. Then when you are done with the first 3, start planning what mods you want to do!
Congrats and welcome to CF. As you learn things about your new ride, you will find enjoyment in helping other newbies here. This is a great place to learn, make friends and have fun--careful, it's addictive.
You got a fast color, a nice car, stop the worry about money, it will drive you nuts thinking, could I have gotten a better deal. When ever you think about a better deal, remember you could have gotten a worse car for less money. Now have some fun, run the miles up and start MODs rolling.
Getting 'chrome' wheels for your ride is easy - brouse the For Sale section of the Forum, there are many posts for these, or visit one of the Forum vendors, prices are not bad at all.
Sounds like a sweet ride!! I'm currently waiting to hear from my credit union on a loan..I found a blk/blk 2000 with 20k miles that's fully loaded and i'm hoping to get it for $25,500..I should know some time next week!!
Hey Congrats I just bought a 99 torch red/oak/oak with 13k on it for a couple of grand more than that and I have no regrets whatsoever. the smile hasn't left my face for 12 days now. One of my coworkers who already had a vette gave me the advise of once you buy your car don't worry what they are selling for afterwards just enjoy the one you bought. Sure there are always going to be better deals later but then you would not have had the weeks or months of enjoyment from the one you bought.
