Need help with my z16
I cant seem to find a thread. Someone said they can tell what number your z16 is by the vin. If anyone can point me in the right direction , I would be very thankful. edit, do the 04's come with a video about the car like earlier years? I only got a cd.

My # is 756,build date Feb 18 and I love the car BUT !! Its been at the dealer for almost two weeks waiting parts,first a gas tank crossover pipe now a driver side gas tank (GM says it will be shipped this wed.) If you smell gas after a fill-up watch for gas leaking out,just a word of caution. HEB

Read these posts. I am a new Z16 owner too. If I read this all correctly, were there a totaly 2025 Z16's made? (Also, do I refer to my Vette as a Z16 or a Z06? The car emblems all say Z06, but everyone here seems to call it a Z16).
I feel left out.

I got my Z-16 back yesterday,new driver-side gas tank and crossover pipe installed, drove it 90 miles,so far no leaks. Reciept says split in seam of crossover pipe,gas tank installed as a precaution,some tanks on 04s have had bad conections where the crossover connects. I posted a thread on this in the tech section,only had a few replys of this problem. They did screw up my right rocker panel, take it back Monday for repair. If the service tech would use jacking pads this would not happen, IDIOTS!! HEB
