Resurrecting old threads? Do a www.GMBuypower.com search or www.vettenet.com and find the car you really want. If you're going to spend $40,000 you should get exactly the car you want. I found mine at www.corvetteking.com , rented a car one way ($64) and drove my new baby back home. You should still get $10,000 or more off MSRP.
Depending on your roads or how you choose to use the car if your roads are torn up I would go with the F-55 makes the car more comfortable. The least amount of options you have mean you will have the least of amount of problems. If you go for handling then the Z-51 comes with high recommendations just remember you drive it rough Z-51 style you will also have to replace those expensive tires more often.

Between the Z-51 and the magnetic ride suspension which one did you like better and why? And what did you think about the base suspension where does it stand between these 3 suspensions?
We bought our 6 speed CE coupe w/Z51 from Kerbeck Chevy around the end of June. It a fantastic suspension, very precise but not harsh. We drove the car on a 2000 mile round trip in July and it was great. 12 -14 hours behind the wheel was no problem for my wife or I, and we're well into our 50's. Bought the car @ $11k off MSRP, couldn't be happier with it. Hope you find one.
