New member needs some help

I am trying to post a picture within my member profile with no success. I think I have followed the instructions carefully but most likely missed something that I just can't figure out. I saved the picture to photobucket.com and reduced it to 250 pixels and less than 39.1 kb but I get the message below when I try to upload it into the Corvette Forum. I hope this is the right place to ask for help if not please put me on the right track.

I uploaded mine from my C drive it went nice and smooth. I used PC paint to reduce the size hopefully this will help. If you want the picture to show up under your name you would go to select avatar.

I had a problem similar to yours and found that I had to rename the files once on the server that I wanted to upload from. Hope that made sense.
