air tube doesnt line up
its not off by much
it is just the wrong angle like maybe 1/2 inch off
i have the 97-99 headers and my car is a 98
so its not off by 3 foot
can i cut the air tube and put a piece of flex tubing on it to get some bend?
this is the one on the passenger side and im installing rk sport LTs
When I installed my Lg 's , I didnot wantot pull the intake to installthe new air tube (as i was getting a blower soon). I went to the local parts shop and got a cat. converter hose kit. I consisted of a high temp hose and a few clamps. They used to use these on fords (gads). J cut the old air tube on the motor at the rear by the fireway (straightest area after the bend), then bolted the flanged ond on the header and measured, added 2 inches, cut the hose , removed the flanged end and slip hose on , slid the flanged end back on, bolted it down , tightened the clamps,,and viola,,,workes great,,, I even covered the ends witht eh braided stuff already on the tube,, the hose have a high temp rating and will last a very long time,, plus it allows a little give. And it removes real easy to make getting the plugs out a easy job....Wow, all of this to say a hose will work
wow fantastic amazing thats brilliant i am f+ing excited
lol
ill go get this cat kit and do that its much better than my other idea
(just bolt it up ....itll bend itself on)
today after work i get to do the drivers side header yippeeeee
