too little surface area for that. I believe those are injection molding gate locations (i.e. where material enters the tool cavity).

Of course I removed those ugly ugly things! Whacked them right off with an exacto knife - stretch, slash, stretch, slash etc etc. Only took a couple of hours. Anybody who leaves those things on their tires is not a true connoisseur of Corvettes!
