While applying some tire dressing yesterday I was thinking to myself that I bet some of our members have taken the time to remove all of those little rubber hairs on their tires. So I'm thinking, what's the best way to remove these little things, old razor, pick em off individually, oh forget it, I don't have that much time on my hands.
It doesn't matter how you get them off, just that you DO get them off. It's a great weight reduction mod, and from what I hear, good for a couple tenths off your 1/4 time.
I have a friend that markets "**** for tires",, if you happen to drive your vette (or any other car) and heaven forbid,, wear off the ****, you can replace them with the ones he offers. Makes the tires look like new again. This will add to the resale price ....
You know, those things just don't bother me that much - now a woman with hairy legs.... I do draw the line there. Probably would not shave them, I would just run like hell.
