Default How Do you find your build #

Does anyone know how to go about finding what number your car was when it was built? I have a 97 Nassau and there was only I think 297?? built that year.
Thanks

Look for a forum member named Sponge and ask for a born-on date.

Last 5 digits of your VIN # are the sequence that your car rolled off the assembly line.

Beyond that, I don't recall the link for determining the specific number of model/color/combination, but I'm sure someone else has a link.

If you are asking how many '97s of your color were produced the stats I have show 292, which was 3% of the total build. If you're asking how to find your build/sequence number, which is different than your VIN #, check the underside of your rear storage compartment lids for a sticker that shows build #, option codes, etc. There may be more than one sticker on more than one lid...it changed through the C5 years and some models have the sticker in the glovebox.

on '97's the codes are under the lid for the left rear storage compartment.
